Hockey Cards Trailer: 13/14 Panini Score Hockey

   I have not written one of these trailers in along time. So, let’s get right into the product. Score has been a series over the past years. The base design of score has been my favorite base design. Let me know what you think about the base card design. 13/14 score retail version just came out recently. The Jumbo box for 13/14 Score has yet to come out. The jumbo box is expected to come out on July 24th which is in 3 days. 
   

    As usual we start with the box. The box is very different from the 12/13 score hockey box. It looks very similar to the 2013 Football score box. I think this box is cooler then the 12/13 score box. This box is flat and has 36 packs in it. It’s interesting that a little box like this can fit 36 packs with 12 cards inside them. Well, anyway let’s move on.
    

   Onto the base we see a very similar design also to 2013 football score. So far two things in this set look exactly like 2013 Football score. Anyway score is very nice. I love how the score symbol on the bottom of the card is silver. The colors go very well together. Score has a very clean and mature look to it’s base. The back side is very simple. Again just like Football. Check out my other review on 2013 score football to see the differences.

      As usual score has an insert called Hot Rookies. This years and last years hot rookies blew me away with the design. In this years hot rookies, I love the design. Especially the part on the bottom where it’s black then the black fades away into the picture of the player. In the regular box, not the jumbo box you get an average of 18 Hot Rookies per regular box. There are many more inserts in this years set as shown down below.

     A product made always must have hits. So let’s see the score hits. The first hit I want to talk about is the eye popping Hot Rookies Autographs. The hot rookies autograph look nothing like the insert “hot rookies”. The part I mostly love about it is that the players face is faded in the background as you see up top. Now, let’s move onto the score signatures. Last year score took a big leap on putting more signatures into packs. let year I opened about 30 packs of score and found two autographs inside. The Score Signatures has a very nice touch to it as you see down below.
